Characters—Player Characters, Cohorts, and NPCs in #dungeon
Our characters from our short Eberron campaign in mid 2005:

- A changeling with some specialized training of some unknown variety.

- Rescued many of us from harm when we were children and turned us over to the village who raised us to be... a party of heroes?

Our characters from our Terra Mystica campaign in early 2005:
- Kieran Tassia
- A mage who likes to blast things. Sahen's brother.
- This is how he describes himself: “Kieran stands a proud 5'11". He is clean cut, with a small bit of wild side showing in his shoulder length jet black hair. Just beyond the hair, his eyes glow a vibrant green that demands a second look. His body is smooth, with very little muscle definition, but it is there, and from the way he moves it is evident that he is trained, but unclear as to what for. He carries a single halfspear engraved with runes in ancient tongues long forgotten to most. Over his shoulder is slung a crossbow of good size, and rows of bolts hang from his belt and the bandolier his crossbow is tied to. He wears a simple leather breastplate designed to not interfere with movement and adorned with a single rune in the center of his chest. His boots come up to his knees and are waterproof, like his dark blue cape that almost drags the ground.”
- Lystra
- A talkative bard.
- She describes herself as: “Lystra is a fairly tall, well-endowed, and charming woman. She’s barely 1 inch shorter than her companion, Bellin. She has raven hair that is a mass of rampant curls cascading down to her waist. She has porcelain skin and deep sapphire eyes. She’s wearing a midnight blue silk shirt and leather skirt. Over top, is an antique silver chain shirt. Like Bellin, it’s belted and the buckle is engraved with a symbol of St. Aubrin.”
- Sahen Tassia
- A wizard specializing in support and protective spells. Kieran's brother.
- He describes himself as: “Although young and fully as tall as his brother Kieran, Sahen hunches his shoulders as though he carries a great burden. He is a thin man judging by his arms since the rest of him is lost in his robes. He has black hair which has been cut fairly short and his face is white from lack of sun. Despite his appearance his striking green eyes reveal keen and unyielding determination and intellect. Sahen leans on a sturdy staff and has a bag slung over his shoulder with scrolls and other tademarks of the wizard sticking out.”
- Taenara
- A rogue with some major connections in the local Rogue's Guild.

- Lystra's cohort. A cloistered cleric from an aristocratic family who has a taste for languages.
- He is described as: “Bellin is of medium height and build. His movements are quick and graceful. His fine, ash-blonde hair is fashionably cut and flows down to his shoulder-blades. His turquoise eyes are framed by pale eyebrows in his tanned, mobile face. He’s wearing an azure silk shirt with stars embroidered on the collar and dark blue leather pants. When necessary, he wears an antique silver chain shirt whose belt buckle is engraved with the symbol of St. Aubrin.”
- Modrien
- Taenara's cohort. A winged elf with demonic (?) ancestry.
- Natalia
- Taenara's other cohort. A warrior-type.
Some NPCs of note:
- Asmodai
- An evil person who was hired by we-don't-know-who to kill the baby princess. From 650 years in the past.
- Baby Princess
- Out of a 650 year time-warp, we don't even know her name, but she's royal. Who knows how the present day politicians will react to a princess from a royal-line long thought dead?
- Black Tombs
- A large golem warrior who sometimes travels with us.
- Caden Saevio
- A town leader from the present day.
- He is described as: “Caden Sanctus Saevio is a much younger man—the youngest of the town 'elders'. He wears a black suit around town most of the time (It's an older style than what we see today. It's what many of the council members wear). He has dark hair that is the same length all over—short. He has a brightness in his eyes that never seems to go away. He holds a black wooden cane in one hand. Despite the suit, he has a rapier at his side... held in place by a red silk band slung over one shoulder.”
- Lord Corbin Dantes
- Cousin to and protector of the baby princess. From 650 years in the past.
- Lord Garin Coleridge
- The commander of the Necrolion (the town garrison).
- Mr. BReW / Insane Wizard
- Is he good? Is he evil? He kept the baby princess, Lord Corbin, and Asmodai in a time warp to protect the baby princess. But it lasted for over 600 years and the wizard thinks only 6 years have passed. He keeps speaking to us—long distance no less—but what he says doesn't make a lot of sense. And he has a very weird way of speaking. “These are heading there. These know not what they will find. These better hurry or too late it will be.” [5/13/05 update— he seems to be saner and more likely good, now.]
- Didums the Demon
- This demon is just a pile of ashes... except Lystra keeps hearing his voice in her head and there seem to be one or two other changes to her since he touched her (before going all ash-y). Like Mr. Brew, he has chosen not to share his name. This gave Lystra another chance to give someone a nickname. So, she calls him Didums (an acronym for Distressing, invasive, Demonic, Uninvited, Miserable Schemer).

- The daughter of a town leader and a fighter.
- She describes herself as: “Jane stands just over 5 and a half feet tall. She looks well built and athletic. Her hair falls down her back in a braid. It is the color of field wheat and honey. Her eyes, large and expressive, are an amber brown shade. They are set into a pretty face with rounded cheeks and a small nose. Her mouth is pouty, but set against a strong jaw. She caries a cutlass with a runed blade as well as a shield which looks made of mithril. Jane wears a pair of dark blue pants, and a pink shirt underneath her splint armor. She carries a backpack that looks rather ornate on her shoulder. A gold chain hangs from her neck and there is a locket which hangs from it. Her feet are clad in only sandals with a face of a tiger on the design of each top.”
